About the Motueka Aero Club
The Motueka Aero Club was established in 1934.
Situated in the sunny Nelson-Tasman Region it is a great location for flight training and recreational flying.
Located centrally within New Zealand giving destination choices, with locations in both the North and South Islands being easily reachable. We are also on the edge of two national parks, with amazing coastline of the famous Abel Tasman and the incredible mountains of the Kahurangi a short flight away.
The Airfield is always busy with Sky Dive Abel Tasman and the Nelson Aviation College operating most days.
The Hangar Around Café is right next door where you can enjoy a coffee and light meals while watching aircraft take off and land and the skydivers doing their thrilling descents.
